Proper planning and early bookings are recommended due to the massive crowds. travel to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, which is where the festival takes place; you can reach Prayagraj by air (via Bamrauli Airport), train (Prayagraj Junction is the main station), or by road, with the closest major cities being Varanasi and Lucknow; once in Prayagraj, use local transportation like taxis, auto-rickshaws, or buses to reach the Triveni Sangam, the main site of the festival where the holy dip occurs
